Project update: May 2016
It’s been a while since we were last in touch so here’s a very quick update – just to keep you in the loop about how we’re progressing with The Ally Bally Bee Project.
Once complete, we’ll be offering the world’s first personalised children’s book about dementia. If you’re buying the book for your daughter Emily, to help her understand uncle John’s dementia, then the characters in the book will be Emily and uncle John. We’ll even allow you to customise the behavioural traits because dementia affects everyone differently.
Ally Bally Bee Project: story update
The story for our book is now ready to go through the editing process. We’ve been working with a talented author for several months to get to this stage. Now the text will go through a series of edits – with help from children’s book editors, dementia nurses, carers and families affected by dementia.
Ally Bally Bee Project: illustrations update
We’ve been working with a talented artist who has produced our new illustrations. As you can see from this post, they’re pretty awesome.
We can’t wait to see how the book develops over the coming months.
